We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our laboratory! Prospective postdoctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students with strong interests in synthetic organic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and catalysis are encouraged to contact Dr. Chen by email (aspen[at]hku.hk).
Postdoctoral Fellows (starting as soon as possible)
Fully funded postdoctoral positions are available in our group. Candidates with strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis and/or supramolecular chemistry are encouraged to contact Dr. Chen by email with a cover letter, CV and contact information of references.
Ph.D. Students (starting as early as Fall 2024)
Fully funded Ph.D. studentships are available in our group. Candidates with strong interests in organic chemistry (broadly defined) are encouraged to contact Dr. Chen for the possibility of enrollment in 2024. Applicants from institutions outside Hong Kong where the language of instruction and examination is not entirely in English should provide scores of English test that meet the minimum requirement of application (IELTS: Band 6.5 with no subtest lower than 6, or TOEFL: an overall score of 85 or above). Applicants should send their CVs and copies of transcript to Dr. Chen by email.
Undergraduate and Exchange Students
We welcome prospective undergraduate students to start their scientific journeys in our laboratory. Please email Dr. Chen for the possibility of joining our group.
